Styles in the bridal business change often. New styles come to the fashion scene each season and others discontinue as do fabrics.
Before taking measurements, please call Stained Glass Bridal and Tuxedo to check the current production status and or in-stock availability of your item.
Stained Glass Bridal and Tuxedo strongly encourages you to visit our shop in Delmar, Delaware. Buying gowns on the internet is not recommended unless an authorized full service salon such as ours is not within your local area. We prefer to have you visit our shop so that we can give you the attention and professional service that you deserve. This will minimize the chances for error in measuring, sizing, color shades and style numbers.
By calling or visiting our store, our helpful sales associates can also assist you with styles best suited to all figure types in the party, so all will look nice. Some of the smallest details about a particular style can make the biggest difference. They can also discuss with you, "in house availability" or special order completion and delivery dates. We want you to feel confident about placing your order with us and that it will be to your complete satisfaction.
ORDERING GOWNS BY PHONE
- Call for in house availability or production status and special order completion and delivery.
- Inquire about delivery time.
- Visit our "How to Measure for Gowns and Tuxedos" page. Take the necessary measurements and keep the tape measure handy when placing your order.
- Call to place your order at (302) 846-3436 or if you have any questions, we can be e-mailed for questions only at sgbridalandtux@comcast.net.
- Don't forget accessories you may need to go with your selection.
- You will receive a copy of your order with delivery times and a confirmation number within 36 hours. Please keep the confirmation number for questions regarding your order.

- All orders are final and cannot be cancelled due to special cutting of most gowns upon customer order.

Payment Procedures
The payment of your order is due in full at the time of purchase. Payment plans are only available for in store customers. Payments can be made by phone with a credit card. We accept Mastercard and Visa.

Additional Charges
Different designers charge additional fees for certain order specifications.
- Extra size charges are applicable for garments size 18 and up. Those pattern pieces will require additional fabric yardage.
- Extra length charges - Many designers offer extra length or "Petite" sizing. Standard gown lengths are approximately 59" from hollow to hem. This does vary between designers. Please take into consideration the heel height of the shoe that you will be wearing and your height. Most girls under 5'8" will need a hem.
Color Availability
Click on to the websites of our designers for color choices. Viewing a color swatch in our store is more accurate as computer monitors can vary in intensity. Bolts of fabric do vary ever so slightly in shade. It is recommended that you order all gowns in the same party at the same time to avoid dye lot differences. Be sure to indicate both colors of two color gowns. Sorry, color swatches are not available for mailing.
Style Discontinuation
Vendor websites are maintained by them, however, customer orders can only be placed through qualified shops such as ours. The vendors determine which styles will discontinue from production and when. They also have the right to change any style gown, color, fabric or availability at any time. Always contact Stained Glass Bridal and Tuxedo to inquire about the production status of your selected style at the time you desire to place your order.
Shipping
Stained Glass Bridal and Tuxedo will need your name, apartment information and or suite or house number. Please consider using your work address for delivery if no one will be at your residence during the day to sign for and accept your package.
Delivery
Most orders take 16 weeks for delivery to you. Rush cuts are available on many styles. Please inquire. Manufacturer's production times may vary during high purchasing seasons. Please inquire about your delivery time before ordering.
Production is not done on weekends or during Christmas or Jewish Holidays. Allow plenty of lead time for production and shipping during these periods. This also allows you comfortable time for alterations needed. |
