Mothers will want to coordinate in color to the colors of the wedding party and try not to wear the same color as the "other" mother in the bridal party.
Please also be sure not to wear white or ivory, because that color is reserved for the Bride only on her special wedding day.

Typical gown length for noon to 3 p.m. is Tea-Length, approximately 7 to 9 inches up from the shoe. Many styles of floor length gowns can be shortened to that length if necessary. 4 p.m. and after, floor length is appropriate.
