Alterations
Stained Glass Bridal and Tuxedo has professional on site seamstresses available to do any alterations necessary on your wedding and tuxedo attire.
Gowns are factory cut according to each designer's particular size scale. Most people are not exact to the chart in all areas, therefore, some alterations are usually necessary on most gowns.
Extra detailing, like bustling cannot be factory done. This has to be done after the wearer puts on the gown and has her selected heel height shoe on. The proper measurements can then be taken for bustling button and loop placements.
Wedding Gown alterations an addiitional cost. Average wedding gown alterations include alterations at shoulders or sides, hemming and bustling and generally run less than $150.00.
Alterations can be done if needed by any one of our many qualified on site seamstresses by appointment. Please call to schedule your appointment at least 30 days in advance when possible. You will need the exact bra and shoe with you that you plan to wear the day of the wedding. Gowns must be paid in full before alterations are begun.
